Companion Care

At FDR Social care we are aware that loneliness can be a greater issue in life and can even lead to an emotional problem. It is documented in various research by health professionals that isolation and loneliness can contribute to ailments like depression and high levels of anxiety which can lead to serious mental health difficulties. Whilst our Care and Support teams can help our clients to carry out basic day to day activities for example preparing food, shopping and may be washing and cleaning lack of funding and resources means that our team may not provide social support for example accompany a client to a social setting.

FDR social care will aim to address this increasing level of loneliness and isolation so that we can improve the health and wellbeing of our clients so that they can live a happy and enjoyable life. We may for example be able to connect our clients to local community services which will provide a good level of interactions with other community members. If you know of anyone who could greatly benefit with such a service get in touch with us. Our dedicated companionship services include the below among other

  • Companionship and conversation
