Complex Care
At FDR Social Care we provide a 24hrs, 7 days a week complex care support for people who need medium to long-term continuing specialist or substantial care because of a disability, chronic illness, or following hospitalisation or even long-term medical treatment.

These people require a person-centered specialist support to effectively manage their symptoms and their day-to-day activities to enable a high quality of life. The aim of our complex care at home is to provide support around an individual’s needs and enable them to retain their independence as much as possible. We look carefully at an individual needs and create a personalised tailor-made care plan to give them the best possible care.

This type of care differs from general Care as it usually involves medical intervention of some sort and involvement with clinicians and nurses that specialise in that individual’s particular condition. Complex care can include any condition that requires clinical support, such as Parkinson’s, acquired brain injuries or a neurological condition. Complex care can also be provided if someone requires Nursing Care as a result of their primary condition, for example, a PEG feeding tube after someone has had a stroke or other medical complications. Some examples are

  • Huntington’s Disease,
  • Cerebral Palsy
  • Acquired Brain Injury
  • Spinal Cord Injury
  • Motor Neurone Disease
  • Multiple Sclerosis

If you or someone you are responsible for is suffering with any of these, then investing in complex care from a specialist is the best option as they will have the experience and understanding required to provide the very best care possible. We will work hard to match your interests and preferences for example you may require a female carer than a male carer or even a particular age, we will work with you to achieve this.  Request a free consultation.
